Take a look at April's CyberTips E-Newsletter:
Hey all you tech heads,
Below is a link to the Las Vegas Review Journal Business section for Friday, January 22, 2010.
Wow! My teenage son tends to clog his toilet and I have been plunging it for two days with no relief. I didn't want to pay for a plumber, so I Googled the issue and found this extremely effective home remedy at www.rusticgirls.com:
Three (3) tablespoons liquid dish soap in a pitcher of hot water placed into the bowl for ten minutes. Plunge twelve times and voila! - the bowl emptied obediently.
Pass it on!
To my valued visitors,
To my valued Tech-Head friends,
To my technology-interested visitors,
Here is September's CyberTips E-Newsletter (a bit tardy), which provides you Cyber-tips and tricks along with pointers to Internet places of special interest.

Dear valued friends, colleagues and clients, Two weekends ago, I awoke at 1:30 am to smoke in my bedroom. I RAN to my children's rooms, woke them up and got them downstairs and outside. My dishwasher was ON FIRE. The flames were trying to reach the wood cabinets above. I had filled the dishwasher just before going to bed. I run it at night, because they say running it at night conserves energy. I put out the fire with a pot of water I had (luckily) soaking in the sink. The fire department came to rid the house of all of the smoke and graciously removed the totally destroyed dishwasher from the kitchen. We were very, very, very, very, very fortunate to be unharmed. I feel grateful every minute of every day. When I spoke to my best friend about this, she said she had received a recall notice on her GE dishwasher and a technician came out to do some re-wiring. I did some research and found out there is a fire hazard recall on three or more models (please see link below). I'm spreading the word because I think many of us who purchase re-sale homes do not think to register the appliances existing in the home. I never received a recall notice. Please click on the link below to check the serial number of your GE dishwasher. http://www.cpsc.gov/cpscpub/prerel/prhtml07/07190.html I'm never running my dishwasher at night again . . . |
